This year Robert and Marco school will have its 5th year anniversary. Time flies so quickly. Many things happened between this time, like pandemic Covid-19, coup in Myanmar and many other good and bad things. The world is always changing. But there is one thing it does not change is your good heart. Thank you so much for your effort, interest, help and support for Myanmar. Your school building is in good shape and this year there are 105 children in your school. Your school is still in the safe area of Myanmar. Now our land is not in a good condition. Wars are all around the country. Every group is searching for new members to fight. All the young people between 18 to 35 years old are very worried. Now all the passport offices are full and a lot of young people are going abroad. I am now about 40 years old and I also need to worry. My family wants me to go abroad alone first. But it is difficult and I need to think about our projects and my family. Here in Bagan, there are some local visitors on weekends. They spend their money because they do not know what will happen next in Myanmar. Everyone is hoping for a better time.... Thank you again for your help and support for Myanmar. The name of the village is Ohnt Hmone Yoe. It has 74 families with 300 people. And most of them are farmers. We donated 1000 trees for January 2022. We donated 200 lemon trees, 200 Guava trees, 200 tamarind trees, 200 Star flower trees, 100 Mango trees and 100 red flame trees. We gave every family ten trees and the rest we donated to the school and the monastery. This village is small and active. All school building is maintaining well, and Paul work very also very well. Before we donate, we explain to the people about the climate changes and people are so happy to receive the trees. They planted their trees in their own places. And some trees are planted in the school compound and in Monastery. /Min Min

Robert and Marco School is the middle school. It has no chance to open in this educational year. But we received 1.5 million Covid-shield vaccines from India. And we started to inject the vaccine in Bagan for our medical staff. So we hope our school can start soon again. But until now there is no news about it. The number of infected patients in Myanmar has become lower. But there is still some infection. Today the number of infected people is very low. The second 1 million of vaccines will also arrive soon. So we still live with care. All the children stayed mostly at home. I hope it will be ok soon. And the village has a normal harvest and they grow peanuts and beans. Our PAUL water filter is working very well. And our solar lamps are also working well. But the village got the electricity last year. But they are still happy to use our lamp. They know our five-stars program. So we will see how we can bring more stars there. Now in this village we have our school building, a PAUL water Filter and the solar lamps. So it is our three-stars village. /Min Min

Das Gebäude ist fertig gestellt, alle sind sehr glücklich darüber. Min Min hat neue Schulbänke machen lassen, mit Stahlstruktur und die Schreib- und Sitzbänke sind aus Holz. Das sieht sehr schön und freundlich aus. Von der Windrichtung ist das Gebäude perfekt gebaut, er weht quer durch die Klassenzimmer, sie sind dadurch auch bei dieser großen Hitze angenehm kühl. Die Kinder sind bereits eingezogen, die Wände noch nicht gestrichen. Das kommt im Herbst, kurz vor der Einweihung.
Auch das Toilettengebäude mit dem Handwaschbecken ist schön und funktional geworden.
Alles wartet auf die Einweihung im Dezember. Die Schulleiterin ist sehr traurig, denn durch die Aufwertung der Schule muss sie die Schule wechseln und wird hier eine neue Schulleitung kommen. Hoffen wir, dass wir mit ihr auch gut zusammenarbeiten werden können.
Am 24. Mai gab es hier ein leichtes Erdbeben und hat dem Gebäude Gott sei Dank nur ganz geringfügigen Schaden am Fußboden eines Klassenzimmers zugefügt. Unser Ingenieur wird vorbeikommen und sich den Schaden anschauen. Dann reparieren wir ihn. Das von der Regierung gebaute Gebäude hat ziemliche Risse bekommen, ein Klassenzimmer ist ziemlich beschädigt.
Schüler 220, Lehrer 9, Worker 1, KG - Grade 9, durch den Wechsel im System sind das jetzt 9 Klassen, PAUL, Trinkwasser in tönernen Gefäßen. /ub

Am 5. Mai hat Min Min diese Fotos auf Facebook gestellt, das Schulgebäude ist so gut wie fertig! Zum Schuljahresbeginn können die Kinder vom Kloster umziehen in ihr Schulgebäude, da wird die Freude groß sein!

Am 18. März wurden die Eckpfeiler in den Boden geschlagen, ein kleines feierliches Ereignis, das Min Min mit seiner Frau und Familie stellvertretend für die Spender gemacht haben.
